Ibrani 6:10
Konteks6:10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.
Ibrani 6:18
Konteks6:18 so that we who have found refuge in him 1 may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.
Ibrani 9:7
Konteks9:7 But only the high priest enters once a year into the inner tent, 2 and not without blood that he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. 3
Ibrani 13:20
Konteks13:20 Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,
[6:18] 1 tn Grk “have taken refuge”; the basis of that refuge is implied in the preceding verse.
[9:7] 2 tn Grk “the second tent.”
[9:7] 3 tn Or perhaps “the unintentional sins of the people”; Grk “the ignorances of the people.” Cf. BDAG 13 s.v. ἀγνόημα, “sin committed in ignorance/unintentionally.” This term seems to be simply a synonym for “sins” (cf. Heb 5:2) and does not pick up the distinction made in Num 15:22-31 between unwitting sin and “high-handed” sin. The Day of Atonement ritual in Lev 16 covered all the sins of the people, not just the unwitting ones.
